Honda has unveiled the All-New 2017 Honda CR-V which features new styling and the model’s first turbocharged engine.
The 2017 Honda CR-V is the company’s fifth-generation CR-V. Its exterior features a sharp front-end design with aggressive stylized headlights surrounded by a wing-shaped LED DRL array on all trims, and wide, muscular fenders. It also has a long hood, longer wheelbase, short rear overhang, dual exhausts, MacPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension, tubular front and solid rear stabilizer bars, and dual-pinion, variable ratio Electric Power Steering (EPS).
The interior features a color TFT driver information interface (DII) center meter display, 7-inch touchscreen Display Audio interface (compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) with Android operating system with physical volume knob, and new Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System.
Under the hood, the EX variant features the mentioned first ever turbocharged engine – a 1.5-liter DOHC, direct-injected and turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder powerplant rated at 190 horsepower. The LX variant, on the other hand, will be powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC, direct-injected i-VTECÔ engine.
