BMW PH opens first Retail.Next showroom in San Fernando Pampanga

BMW Group Asia and SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., the official importer and distributor of BMW in the Philippines, today announced the opening of the first-ever BMW Retail.Next showroom in Pampanga. Retail.Next introduces a holistic customer concept and features new showroom designs together with the integrated use of technology to bring customers a fresh all-encompassing experience.

Retail.Next, a retail concept for all BMW Group brands, is designed to provide a holistic experience for customers throughout every online or offline interaction they have with the dealership. Using thoughtful interior design, new digital technologies, and new customer-facing roles and processes, every customer will be met with a best-in-class premium experience.

The new Pampanga Premier Cars showroom spans 1,256m2 and is the first Retail.Next showroom in Philippines. With six cars on display, the space features a flexible and stylish interior, multi-functional areas, as well as shared and open spaces with the customer’s comfort and experience in mind.  New digital technologies, such as Emotional Virtual Experience (EVE) and POS.Digital, are seamlessly integrated into the space to engage customers and inform them of latest products and services. Whether they are exploring the vehicles, browsing from the latest lifestyle collection, or waiting for their vehicles to be serviced, they are immersed in a cozy and premium environment every step of the way.

Design.

The environment caters to the customers’ wishes and needs from the moment they enter the showroom.

  • The Welcome and Customer Consultation area greets the customer through a unified entrance. With each vehicle thoughtfully staged and oriented towards capturing attention, customers are invited to explore their desired car.
  • Sales consultations are designed to be flexible, allowing customers to engage in discussions wherever they feel most comfortable. The Sales Lounge is also available for added privacy.
  • Customer consultation is carried out with the help of 3D digital configuration tools that allow customers to visualize their future BMW in various colors, trims, and in different environmental settings.
  • The BMW Café and Customer Hospitality area is thoughtfully designed with warm lighting and comfortable seating arrangements, creating an atmosphere where customers can unwind and with a tasteful selection of food and beverages.
  • The Multifunction Bay can be used as an exclusive space for vehicle handovers, VIP consultations, presentations, or exclusive new product launches.
  • The rich cultural heritage of the Philippines is reflected through a hand-carved wooden paneled wall. In regions like Pampanga where exquisite wood carving traditions are well-renowned, the infusion of personality creates a seamless connection between local artistry and global excellence.
  • Upon arrival at the Service Reception, customers are personally welcomed as their vehicles are received and brought for inspection. Service advisors guide them into thoughtfully curated Service Consultation Lounges that provide a comfortable and private setting for personalized consultations on all service matters.

Digitalization.

The customer experience is further enhanced by the availability of Digital tools, such as the Emotional Virtual Experience (EVE), a 3D-rendering software which presents vehicles to the customer in almost photo-realistic quality during the consultation and sales process. Thanks to EVE, the customer can view the stock vehicles offered by the dealer and can explore the vehicle from all available angles, including a detailed look at the interior and the exterior of the car and experience the vehicle in different environments during the day and night.
