Here’s what you need to know about the new and more expensive toll prices.

As we all know by now, the expressways in both the north and south of Metro Manila have continued their push towards a fully-contactless toll collection system. That said, we simply have to make sure that our RFID tags – Autosweep and Easytrip – are always sufficiently loaded, lest we go through the hassle of having to hand over cash (IF there’s a cash lane) or be “forced” to have them installed. If you need to find an Autosweep or Easytrip RFID installation site near you, here’s our handy-dandy guide that could definitely help.

Here’s to hoping that these toll price hikes are the last for this year. With gas prices also going up and traffic bound to get worse over the holidays, not having to fork over more for tolls would make for a more enjoyable road trip during the break, right?
