If there’s one car that we really wished was sold in the Philippines, it’s the Suzuki Swift Sport. Based on the now previous-generation model, the ZC33S is one affordable hot hatch. Despite being available in left-hand drive and even sold in both Europe and Taiwan, this vehicle never ended up on our shores.
With the release of the new Swift, it seems the Swift Sport is also bowing out. At the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon, Suzuki we got our first look at the Swift Sport Final Edition.
On the outside, it looks very much the same as the ZC33S Swift Sport but with some minor changes. The most obvious difference is the wheels, which are now finished in all black. The C-pillar also gets a sticker with a carbon pattern. Inside, the only addition is the burnt-titanium finish on the trim with the Sport logo.
Aside from those, the rest of the vehicle remains unchanged. Under the hood, the Swift Sport still uses the 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 140 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque sending power to the front wheels. Users can also choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
Unfortunately, the Swift Sport Final Edition appears to be a Japan-only model, giving them one last opportunity to pick up an affordable hot hatchback priced at JPY 2,329,800 (apx. PHP 860,000USD 14,603INR 1,242,958EUR 14,061CNY 106,640) for the 6MT model. As for the rest of the world, well, let’s just hope Suzuki decides to make a new Swift Sport based on the new fourth generation model.
But what do you think? Should Suzuki Philippines have offered the Swift Sport locally? We certainly do.
