We recently wrote about the all-new Ford Territory making its way to our shores, at the time it was pure speculation given our ASEAN neighbors already had the new version.
Now though we have concrete proof that the crossover is on its way here, and the information comes from the brand itself.
Ford PH teases all-new Territory
About an hour ago, the official Ford Philippines Facebook page posted a teaser video. While the video itself only features the lights of the upcoming car, it is unmistakably the same vehicle launched in other ASEAN markets.
In terms of the actual specification, no information has been given. What we can assume is that if the all-new Territory is launched here with an updated powertrain we can probably get the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that makes 170 PS and 256 Nm of torque, which is a significant improvement over the current Territory’s engine.
Also, with the brand already teasing the launch of the vehicle the question now is when exactly will it break cover? given the timing of the teaser it would make the most sense to launch the car during the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) which is set to take place sometime in April.
