CAVITEX C5 Link To Start Collecting Adjusted Toll Fees

The CAVITEX C5 Link has begun collecting adjusted toll fees. This comes after the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) issued a notice (OREF NO: JTT-L2022-2166) to Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC).

CAVITEX C5 link adjusted toll fees

Starting yesterday (November 27, 2022), the following provisional toll rate shall be applied to CAVITEX C5 Link:  Php 35.00 for Class 1, Php 69.00 for Class 2, and Php 104.00 for Class 3 motorists.

Cavitex C5 Link Updated Toll Fees

The CAVITEX C5 Link flyover extension was opened to the motoring public last August 14, 2022, extending the length of the operational segment of the expressway by 1.6km, allowing more convenient access and improved travel time bound to C5 Road in Taguig from Merville, Parañaque, and vice versa.

Aside from introducing new traffic schemes in the area to manage traffic flow, CAVITEX management also opened a new Merville Exit Ramp last October to cater to Merville-direction-bound motorists.

Cavitex C5 Link Operating Segments

The whole CAVITEX C5 Link will span a total of 7.7km and connect to CAVITEX in 2023. This will help reduce travel time by thirty to forty-five minutes for motorists traveling from CAVITEX to Makati, Taguig, and Pasay (and vice versa). This project also helps decongest major thoroughfares such as EDSA, MIA Road, etc.
