XPENG officially launched the L03 in the Philippines at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The AI SUV Coupé comes in four variants, three battery-electric and one range-extended electric vehicle (REEV). Prices start at ₱1,548,000. The L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra, priced at ₱2,058,000, was announced earlier this month, and the other three variants were announced at the launch.
The full L03 lineup is priced as follows: the EV Standard Range at ₱1,548,000, the REEV at ₱1,598,000, the EV Long Range at ₱1,698,000, and the EV Long Range Ultra at ₱2,058,000.
An audience of 3,000 attended, comprising media, content creators, dealer and banking partners, automotive industry executives, special guests, and members of the public. The event also introduced actress, television host, and recording artist Anne Curtis as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador and presented the X9 MPV. Displays of the X2 Flying Car and the IRON Humanoid Robot were shown, and performances were given by TJ Monterde, GAT, and Criselda Alvarez.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03,” said Katoon Su, Country Director of XPENG Philippines. “We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage.”
The EV Standard Range has a 58.3 kWh battery and up to 445 km of driving range. The EV Long Range and the Long Range Ultra both use a 71.1 kWh battery. The EV Long Range is rated for up to 520 km, while the Long Range Ultra is rated for up to 480 km. The Ultra adds front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and additional intelligent driving hardware.
The REEV has a 37.2 kWh battery, which XPENG says is larger than those in conventional hybrids and earlier-generation range-extended vehicles. It provides up to 215 km of pure electric range, which XPENG says covers many daily commutes, errands and intercity trips on battery power alone. XPENG compared this with range-extended vehicles that offer about 100 km or less of electric range. When more range is needed, the onboard engine generates electricity to charge the battery rather than directly driving the wheels. Combined WLTP range reaches up to 1,017 km.
All four variants use an electric motor to drive the rear wheels. With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, they can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes.
Across the lineup, the L03 has a five-seat cabin, a 539-liter rear luggage area, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and XPENG’s suite of driver assistance and safety technologies. Exterior colors are Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost and Phantom Purple, paired with a Dark Gray interior.
L03 buyers receive two years of free preventive maintenance, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor. EV variants come with a 7kW wall charger, and the REEV comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.
Reservations for the L03 cost ₱10,000 and can be made by messaging @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram. Reservations can also be made through XPENG Greenhills, XPENG Makati, XPENG North EDSA, and XPENG Cebu. Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Availability may vary depending on model, variant, color and dealer allocation. XPENG said it will announce additional dealerships as it expands its sales and service network in the Philippines.
