XPENG officially launched the X9 in the Philippines on Friday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The seven-seater MPV arrives in two Long Range variants, the X9 Long Range at ₱3,858,000 and the X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package at ₱4,058,000. Both prices were previously announced.
XPENG describes the X9 as its flagship Ultra-Intelligent Seven-Seater MPV. The two variants differ in second-row setup. The Premium Seat Package variant offers four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage for a more individualized seating experience. The X9 Long Range uses Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, which gives passengers access between the second and third rows.
Both variants share the same core technologies. Active rear-wheel steering gives the X9 a turning radius of 5.4 meters, which XPENG says helps in tight turns, narrow streets and parking areas. Intelligent dual-chamber air suspension is fitted for ride comfort, and the powered third row folds beneath the floor at the touch of a button to add cargo space.
Both variants use the same front-wheel-drive electric system, which produces 235 kW and 450 Nm of torque. Each has a 110 kWh battery and a driving range of up to 615 km. With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, the X9 can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 12 minutes.
Exterior colors are Midnight Black, Arctic White, and Matte Gray, with Silver Frost available by special order. Both variants come with a Meteorite Black interior, and Coffee is available by special order.
X9 buyers receive five years of free preventive maintenance, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor, and a 7kW wall charger.
Reservations for the X9 cost ₱25,000 and can be made by messaging @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram. Reservations can also be made through XPENG Greenhills, XPENG Makati, XPENG North EDSA, and XPENG Cebu. Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Availability may vary depending on model, variant, color, and dealer allocation. XPENG said it will announce additional dealerships as XPENG Philippines expands its sales and service network.
