Changan Philippines to introduce four electrified models at MIAS 2025

Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan, is set to introduce its electrified vehicle lineup at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS 2025) which will be held on April 10-13, 2025, at the World Trade Center.

Changan, one of China’s largest automotive brands, has over 160 years of global industrial expertise, with 65 years dedicated to automotive innovation. The company operates key research and development centers in China, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the USA. This latest move aligns with its commitment to expanding in the Philippines by offering innovative mobility solutions and sustainable driving technologies.

Currently, Changan offers seven internal combustion engine (ICE) models, including sedans, crossovers, and SUVs. This April, the brand will expand its lineup by introducing four electrified models powered by three new energy vehicle technologies: Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). This initiative supports Changan’s vision for carbon neutrality and the growing demand for sustainable mobility options in the country.

Three of the upcoming models will feature Changan’s 101 logo, representing its mid-range electric vehicle line. The Changan 101 series is positioned as a “Digital Intelligence Evolution New Vehicle,” embodying simplicity, intelligence, and futuristic design.

The 101 logo incorporates elements of oriental philosophy, integrating a “circle” for inclusivity and natural beauty with a “square” symbolizing numerical intelligence and technology. The binary digits “0” and “1” reflect continuous evolution and innovation, reinforcing the brand’s values of People-Centricity, Innovation, Openness, and Inclusiveness.

Changan’s electrification efforts highlight its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of Filipino consumers while maintaining high-quality products and customer service. It seems Changan Philippines is back to stepping up its game once again.
