Effective E-Patrol Services will bring LTO right to your barangay

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) wants to bring itself closer to the people and plans to do so with the E-Patrol Services. It’s not the first time that an LTO office will become “mobile”; in a recent posting, the government agency said that it’s finalizing the plans for the strategic deployment of the facility and they will follow the data on where they are needed that they acquire from the public.

Following the instruction of PBBM, the LTO has committed to expanding the coverage of its mobile E-Patrol Services across the country.

“This is part of our initiative to make all LTO services more accessible to the community. Through our E-Patrol Services, the people even in far-flung areas can conveniently access important LTO services,” said LTO Chief Asst. Sec. Vigor Mendoza II.

“This is also part of our goal of promoting road safety involving over 20 million vehicles in the country,” he added.

With the E-Patrol Services, citizens can process driver’s license renewals and motor vehicle registration renewals. The program aims to not only assure comfortable and fast LTO services but also to pave the way for people living very far from LTO offices to save time, energy, and time in any transaction

“We expand our E-Patrol Services para kung puwede ay hindi na pumunta ang ating mga kababayan sa mga LTO District Offices. Gusto natin na maging komportable ang lahat para sa kanila dahil ito naman ang bilin ng ating Pangulo under the Bagong Pilipinas. Instead of going to LTO offices, ang LTO na ang pupunta sa mga barangay upang magbigay ng serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar,” he added.

Mendoza explained that the deployment of E-Patrol Services is in line with the directive of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime J. Bautista to help the people comply with land transportation regulations through hassle-free transactions with the government. At the same time, he said that all Regional Directors and District Office heads have already rolled out the program and in the next few weeks, the E-Patrol Services will be deployed as frequently as possible across the country.
