Fuel prices seem to be see-sawing the past couple of weeks. After the rollback last March 11, tomorrow will see both gasoline and diesel prices go up again. The former will be PHPÂ more expensive per liter, and the latter by PHP . As always, different brands will apply the new prices at different times, but we can expect a little more of a pinch when we go for a top-up.
Fuel price hike for gas and rollback for diesel set for tomorrow, March 19
Fuel prices have been erratic since last month, but as it stands, we’d take the smaller increases rather than the constant and hefty hikes that early 2024 had for all of us. Gasoline will go up by PHP 0.10 per liter tomorrow, but diesel will be cheaper by PHP 0.10. While many hoped that a rollback for both would happen this week, unfortunately, it just won’t be so.
The majority of the brands including Caltex Petron, Shell, Unioil, Seaoil, and Petro Gazz will apply the adjustments at 6:00 AM. Patrons of Cleanfuel will, as always, get both the lower and higher prices for both fuel types starting at 12:01 AM.
Here are a few ways we’ve come up with so you can better conserve your fuel consumption; trust us, they work. With everyone hanging on until the last minute before knowing what adjustments to fuel prices are coming every week, we might as well practice being more frugal with our usage, right?
