Tomorrow’s fuel price update brings bad and worse news. Bad because diesel product prices are slated to go up by PHP 0.40USD 0.01INR 0.60EUR 0.01CNY 0.05 per liter. Worse because those who use gasoline will have to brace for a higher hike; gas is set to be more expensive by a significant PHP 1.10USD 0.02INR 2EUR 0.02CNY 0.14 per liter. This is the last of the adjustments to gas and diesel prices this month, and honestly, we wish we had better news to tell you.
Fuel prices of gas and diesel go up
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s bad news for all motor vehicle users as fuel prices will definitely become more expensive this week. Come tomorrow, March 25, 2025, gasoline prices will go up by PHP 1.10USD 0.02INR 2EUR 0.02CNY 0.14 and diesel by PHP 0.40USD 0.01INR 0.60EUR 0.01CNY 0.05. Last week saw a minimal rollback for the latter but now we have the opposite, plus something worse for the former.
As always, the earliest time that pumps will reflect the new fuel prices will be as early as 6:00 AM, and brands such as Caltex, Shell, Petron, Unioil, and Seaoil among many others, will do so by that time. As its faithful have come to expect (and like), Cleanfuel will give its customers a longer reprieve; its stations and pumps will update to the newer prices later in the day at 4:01 PM.

As has always been our friendly reminder, if we can help it, then we should be rather frugal with how much we use our vehicles. Given the recent trends, fuel prices may again start an uptick in the coming weeks and that’s never good news for anyone. Trying to look at alternative sources of power and perhaps into newer, electrified or hybrid options such as the “reportedly” incoming Ford Ranger PHEV may already a good idea for many.
Prices and much other information about the electrification movement might still be holding a lot of consumers back from considering these as options but in case you’re wondering, we do have a lot of useful information about vehicles and hybrid technology in general on our website. Just search away and you might be surprised with what you find.
That said, happy driving to one and all, and may your fuel consumption be as efficient as possible. At least until the next big fuel price rollback.
