Fuel Price Increase January 17, 2023: Diesel + PHP 0.50. Gasoline + PHP 0.95

After last week’s sizeable rollback, this week tells a different story. It’s being announced by certain fuel companies that a fuel price increase is set for tomorrow January 17, 2023.
January 17, 2023 Fuel Price Increase
At the time of writing this article, Clean Fuel and Shell Pilipinas have announced the following price increases:
Diesel: + PHP 0.50
Gasoline: + PHP 0.95
Usually, most fuel companies implement their price increases early in the morning. Clean Fuel though has opted to implement theirs tomorrow afternoon at 4:01 pm. We expect the other companies to follow suit with their announcements as the day goes on, needless to say, it’s time to gas up before prices go up.
