If you’re part of the very rich and very famous group there are a number of Supercar/Hypercar brands to choose from, however, there are certain brands that take things to the limit, such brands like Hennessey. The famed tuner turned Hypercar builder has just bagged a very notable client for its equally notable Hypercar.
MJ takes Hennessey Venom
That’s right ‘His Airness’ has just taken delivery of the extremely fast and crazy Hennessey Venom Hypercar. It was revealed through a social media post by the brand’s CEO John Hennessey who was seen standing next to MJ and the Venom F5 roadster. The photo was taken at Jordan’s private golf club in Florida named Grove XXII, while the photo doesn’t show off the whole car the unmistakable exposed carbon fiber and pinstripes gave it away.
The Venom F5 Roadster hides beneath it a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 engine. This engine produces an earth-shaking 1,817 HP and 1,617 Nm of torque, power is sent to the wheels by a single-clutch semi-automatic 7-speed transmission, making this the self-proclaimed “fastest and most powerful convertible in the world”.
The majority of the car is of course built with carbon fiber while new tempered glass at the back provides a sneak peek at the potent engine behind the passenger compartment. The glass is made of a material that can withstand temperatures over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
The basketball legend is one of only 30 people to own the Venom F5 Roadster with the car only being in limited production. As such, the price of the vehicle is as astronomical as its power figures, it costs $3 Million.
