The Nissan Juke was a loved and sort of hated vehicle depending on who you spoke to, the style above all else was polarizing although the Juke was a very decent vehicle.
It enjoyed relative success in the Philippines for a few years before eventually moving on and being replaced by the Kicks e-Power. At the time it made sense and has paid off for Nissan, with the Kicks becoming an instant hit.
Some however lament the loss of the Juke locally, while other markets continue to get the Juke. There is a refreshed Juke and it looks very good.
2024 Nissan Juke N-Sport
One of the first things that were updated for the N-Sport is the return of the crowd-favorite Yellow color scheme, according to reports it was the customers who asked if Yellow could return and it has for this N-Sport model. The Juke N-Sport also comes in a two-tone colorway with blacked-out exterior panels just to make the vehicle and the yellow pop out more.
As Coldplay famously said “And it was all yellow”, the exterior is complimented by contrasting yellow panels in the interior. Even the seats get some yellow stitching. Some of the new updates and upgrades include Alcantara touches on the seats, a wireless charging pad, an electronic handbrake, a bigger glovebox, and more USB charging ports for the front and the back.
There are 2 powertrain options for the Juke over in Europe first is the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 117 PS and 180 Nm of torque. The next is a 1.6-liter hybrid gasoline engine with 143 PS and 205 Nm of torque.
With the aforementioned success of the Nissan Kicks e-Power locally, there is almost no chance of a Juke return. It is interesting though to see that it is doing well in other markets, and continues to be the funky but good crossover.
