Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has announced a lineup of new and refreshed models set to launch in 2025 and 2026. These models incorporate next-generation technologies aimed at improving performance, customer loyalty, and profitability.

To meet growing demand, Nissan will introduce hybrid systems, including e-POWER and plug-in hybrids, next-generation electric vehicles (EVs), and advanced internal combustion engines (ICE). Chief Performance Officer Guillaume Cartier emphasized the company’s strategy of powertrain diversification to cater to diverse customer needs.

The third-generation Nissan LEAF has been redesigned as a spacious crossover with improved aerodynamics and a new EV architecture. It features 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, and, for North America, a NACS charging port for Tesla Supercharger access. Built on the CMF-EV platform, it benefits from Nissan’s 3-in-1 EV powertrain for improved range and efficiency. More details will be announced mid-year.

Nissan’s third-generation e-POWER hybrid system aims to improve efficiency by up to 15% at high speeds. The system, featuring a 1.5-liter e-POWER-dedicated engine, will debut in the Qashqai in Europe in FY25, followed by the next-generation Rogue in North America and a large minivan in Japan in FY26.
