Motorists as well as those who live in and around can expect heavy traffic tomorrow, July 1. In celebration of the 449th Araw ng Pasig, the city’s Civic Parade is scheduled to take place tomorrow, and road closures will start as early as 6:00 AM.

In a nutshell, the following roads will be closed tomorrow:
- Caruncho Avenue (both directions)
- MH Del Pilar Street (Brgy. San Nicolas)
- Eagle Street
- Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue (Brgy. Kapasigan)
- Rotonda Junction
- A. Mabini Street (Brgy. Kapasigan)
- Plaza Rizal Intersection
- C. Raymundo Avenue (both directions from Mercedes Avenue to Stella Maris Street)
- Mercedes Avenue (both directions from Market Avenue to C. Raymundo)
Following these Pasig Road closures, several traffic rerouting schemes will also be put in place, and you can find the list below:

Festivities will move well into the late hours and so will all the Pasig road closures, so you should plan your travels tomorrow if you expect to be anywhere in or around the city. If you can avoid traveling altogether, that may be best, too, but only if you can of course.
