Although not officially announced in the Philippines, Maruti Suzuki has teased the latest iteration of the Ertiga MPV and has announced that pre-bookings have begun in India.
The new 2022 Ertiga will be boasting a 1.5-liter K-series Dual Jet VVT engine with Smart Hybrid Technology. This should make the Ertiga ready to take on the roads with the best fuel efficiency we’ve seen from it. It will also be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. This is good news considering prior models of the Ertiga only came with a dated 4-speed torque converter. Other new features to expect are updates to its infotainment system with a new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
