The Municipality of Noveleta in Cavite has deployed VinFast VF 3 units as electric police patrol vehicles, making it the first municipality in the CALABARZON region to adopt EV mobility goals.
The initial deployment was supplied through VinFast Marikina and Xentro, with more units expected to follow. The vehicles are intended to support local patrol operations while reducing fuel consumption and operating costs.

From a practicality and ease-of-use standpoint, the VF 3 makes sense, especially given its size: 3,190 mm long, 1,679 mm wide, and 1,652 mm high, making it smaller than most passenger vehicles currently on the road. The compact dimensions allow it to navigate congested streets, narrow roads, and tight parking situations. It rides on 16-inch wheels and offers 175 mm of ground clearance.
On a full charge, the VF 3 has a range of up to 215 kilometers. Using DC fast charging, the battery can go from 10 to 70 percent in around 36 minutes. From a city’s perspective, it seems more than enough for a patrol car that does not need to travel long distances.
