MG Philippines unveiled its latest offering, the MG ONE, a compact crossover SUV packed with smart technology, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati. This marks a significant step forward for MG since the SAIC group takeover, as this is the first of many planned models to launch in 2024.

The MG ONE is the first model developed under the SAIC Intelligent global modular architecture platform, known as SIGMA. This platform enhances automotive design and development by combining over 100 high-value modules, allowing for the creation of various models to meet diverse customer needs.
It exhibits sleek design elements, including sporty SUV proportions, dynamic LED headlights and taillights, and a striking Sonic Boom Grille, giving it a strong and athletic appearance.
Inside, the MG ONE offers a luxurious experience with leather-style seats, an intuitive electronic gear shifter, and a panoramic sunroof. Its 30-inch wraparound triple screen provides essential information and entertainment, while innovative features like passive entry, push-button start, and wireless phone charging give added convenience to the driver.
Under the hood, the MG ONE boasts a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 168 hp and 285 Nm of torque, which promises sufficient power for your daily commutes and road trip adventures.
Safety is paramount with the MG ONE, as it is equipped with MG Pilot, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and a 360-degree camera, among other features. Its rigid body structure and multiple airbags also ensure top-notch protection for passengers.
Felix Jiang, President of SAIC Motor Philippines, Inc., expressed excitement about bringing the MG ONE to the Philippines, emphasizing its contemporary design and futuristic technology. This launch coincides with MG’s 100th anniversary, highlighting the brand’s enduring legacy and commitment to innovation.
The MG ONE is now available nationwide at authorized MG dealerships, with prices starting at P1,298,888.00 for the CVT STD variant and P1,458,888.00 for the CVT LUX variant. It comes in six colors, including Fizzy Orange, Brighton Blue, Extreme Speed Red, Moon White, Iron Oxide, and Meteorite Black, with a two-tone black roof option exclusively for the LUX variant.
