DPWH to conduct another round of road reblocking on EDSA, C5 and QC this weekend

According to a post on the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Facebook page, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will be conducting another round of road reblocking repairs on portions of EDSA and C5 this weekend.

The schedule for the repairs begins tonight (April 29, 2022) at 11 pm all the way until 5 am on May 2, 2022.

Here is the list of the affected roads:

  1. EDSA Guadalupe Makati City NB innermost lane (bus way) from EDSA Guadalupe footbridge going to EDSA Guadalupe Cloverleaf (near Guadalupe MRT Station)
  2. EDSA Quezon City NB/ EDSA Quezon City SB P. Tuazon Aurora Blvd. 1st lane from sidewalk (intermittent section) & Aurora Blvd. to Arayat 1st lane from sidewalk
  3. C-5 Road NB (3rd lane) before Mckinley Road Makati City
  4. C-5 Road SB Makati City along 2nd lane near elevated U-Turn
  5. EDSA- SB Caloocan City before Biglang Awa St., (3rd lane from sidewalk) Caloocan City
  6. West Ave. Quezon City along West Ave. between Bulletin Street and Times Street (1st lane from sidewalk)
  7. Mindanao Ave. NB Quezon City from Shell Gas Station to Road 20 (2nd lane/ truck lane)
  8. Along EDSA SB Quezon City Service Road Corner 11th Jamboree to Timog Avenue intersection- opposite Mapagmahal St. to Kamuning Road (2nd block from sidewalk)
  9. C.P. Garcia Ave. bound to Katipunan Ave. Quezon City (C5) fronting Institute of Mathematics (1st block from sidewalk)
  10. C-5 Road Pasig City along Pasig Blvd. SB infront of North American Automotive & along Doña Julia Vargas Westbound infront of Banco De Oro Julia Vargas Pasig City
  11. Along A. Bonifacio Corner C3 Quezon City

As always, the DPWH and MMDA have advised motorists who traverse the affected roads, to take note and plan their trips accordingly.
