The Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) online vehicle plate availability checker silently went live yesterday. This will allow motorists to check if their new plates are now ready for pick-up.
The LTO’s plate backlog has been a long-running issue of the office and is one of the main reasons why they’re taking a lot of heat. They’re slowly releasing the delayed plates with most of the held 2016 batch now rolling out.
They’ve also partnered with the Department of Transportation recently to open the government’s own license-plate manufacturing factories. To access the online plate availability checker just head on over to this link here.
