Toyota Fortuner GR-S, Hilux GR-S, priced in the Philippines

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) expands its local TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) lineup with the new Toyota Fortuner GR-S and Hilux GR-S models.

According to TMP, the new GR-S models get a striking and more aggressive exterior, with the Fortuner GR-S getting a redesigned front and rear bumper, fog lamp garnish, body-color arch mold, and back door garnish, and bi-tone rear spoiler.

The Hilux GR-S, on the other hand, gets a black gloss G-MESH front grille design with TOYOTA emblem across the model’s front, body-color over-fenders, a sports bar in gloss black.

Further, both models get a black-tinted clear coating on its 18” alloy wheels with a machine-cut finish.

Moreover, both models sport an interior that complements the sporty exterior – red, black, and smoke silver metallic accented GR interior, leather with red stitching on the wheel, aluminum pedals, and sport-type front seats with suede and leather material with red stitching.

The Fortuner GR-S meanwhile gets Matte Carbon trims on the center cluster. In addition, both the Hilux GR-S and Fortuner GR-S get an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, and paddle shifters. A hood-lift assist makes things easier for engine-related works, while the Fortuner GR-S now has a powered tailgate with a kick sensor.

What’s more, the Hilux GR-S now has a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM). On the flip side, the Fortuner GR Sport has Toyota Safety Sense with Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Underneath, both models benefit from a new monotube-type suspension for a more stable and comfortable ride. Both also have red-colored front GR brake calipers, but the Fortuner GR-S also gets rear red GR brake calipers.

The Fortuner GR-S is priced at PHP 2,509,000 for White Pearl CS / Attitude Black Mica and PHP 2,005,000 for the Emotional Red. On the other hand, the Hilux GR-S is priced at PHP 1,985,000 for both Super White and Attitude Black Mica color options.

The new Toyota GR-S models will be available in all of TMP’s dealerships across the country starting November 3.
