Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has started retail sales of the all-new Hilux. Now in its ninth generation, the pickup gets a new design, an expanded lineup of updated diesel variants, and the nameplate’s first 4×4 battery-electric vehicle (BEV) variant.
The all-new Hilux originally made its first appearance and launch during the Philippine International Motor Show, but retail sales will officially start only now.
The all-new Hilux adopts Toyota’s “Cyber Sumo” design, pairing the pickup’s established toughness with sharper styling. The front features C-shaped LED headlamps set into a wider honeycomb-pattern grille, while the rear gets updated lighting and a newly integrated deck-side step for easier access to the cargo bed. Exclusive styling cues separate the variants: the Conquest gets a rugged front bumper aimed at overlanding and outdoor use, while the BEV gets a solid, enclosed grille for improved aerodynamics that also sets it apart from the diesel models.
The ICE lineup rides on a 3,085-mm wheelbase. The flagship Hilux 2.8 4×4 Conquest A/T measures 5,320 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, and 1,865 mm high. The 4×4 V M/T, 4×2 G, and 4×4 E share the same dimensions as the Conquest. The 4×2 E A/T measures 5,320 mm long, 1,855 mm wide, and 1,865 mm high. The BEV variant measures 5,320 mm long, 1,855 mm wide, and 1,845 mm high. Ground clearance reaches 312 mm on ICE variants and 287 mm on the BEV.
Inside, the Conquest, V, G, and E variants get upgraded infotainment. The Conquest and V come with a 12.3-inch Display Audio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the G and E get an 8-inch Display Audio with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Conquest, positioned as the flagship diesel grade, adds synthetic leather upholstery and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The BEV comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, a Panoramic View Monitor, eight-way power-adjustable seats, and synthetic leather material.
All ICE variants use Toyota’s 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV four-cylinder Variable Nozzle Turbo diesel engine, producing 204 PS between 3,000 and 3,400 rpm. Manual transmission variants produce 420 Nm of torque, while automatic variants produce up to 500 Nm. Suspension continues to pair independent double wishbones at the front with a rigid rear axle on leaf springs. Higher-grade variants get four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, while entry-level grades use ventilated front disc brakes with rear drum brakes. The V and Conquest add Electric Power Steering (EPS), while the G and E retain hydraulic power steering.
The Conquest also gets Multi-Terrain Select, with Dirt, Rock, Sand, Mogul, and Mud modes, along with an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, a Panoramic View Monitor, seven airbags, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
The Hilux BEV uses a dedicated ladder-frame chassis built for electric propulsion, with reinforced protection for the high-voltage battery and electric axle to preserve ground clearance, structural durability, and off-road capability. It comes with a shift-by-wire selector, Electric Power Steering, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Its dual-motor electric drivetrain produces a combined 196 PS, with 200 Nm from the front motor and 269 Nm from the rear motor, paired with a permanent electric all-wheel-drive system. The 59.2-kWh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 315 kilometers of range under the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC).
Hilux BEV buyers get a complimentary wall charger and home installation, with support for both AC Type 2 and DC CCS2 fast charging. TMP said the BEV is also backed by its network of authorized BEV dealers equipped with EV charging stations, including Toyota Alabang, Toyota Commonwealth, Toyota Global City, Toyota Makati, Toyota Manila Bay, Toyota North EDSA, Toyota Pasig, Toyota Quezon Avenue, Toyota San Fernando Pampanga, Toyota Santa Rosa Laguna, Toyota La Union, Toyota Batangas, Toyota Mandaue South Cebu, and Toyota Mabolo.
The all-new Hilux starts at ₱1,772,000 for ICE variants, while the BEV is priced at ₱2,990,000. Full pricing by variant is as follows:

Exterior color choices for the ICE lineup include Ash (Conquest and V only), Attitude Black Mica, Super White II, and Silver Metallic (G and E only), with Emotional Red available for the Conquest and V. The Hilux BEV comes exclusively in Platinum White Pearl Mica.
To mark the arrival of the all-new Hilux along with the Land Cruiser FJ and Land Cruiser HEV, Toyota will hold the Toyota Legacy Experience from July 31 to August 2 at Eton City Square Village Walk in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The event will include heritage model displays, curated classic and customized vehicles, off-road test-drive experiences, Toyota Choice and Beyond Zero exhibits, and community activities centered on Toyota’s 4×4 heritage in the country.
