PIMS 2026: All-new Toyota Hilux BEV and ICE finally launched

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) opened reservations for the all-new Hilux today, June 4, at the Philippine International Motor Show 2026. The pickup is now offered in two powertrain options: internal combustion engine (ICE) and battery electric vehicle (BEV).

TMP describes the dual-powertrain lineup as part of its “multi-pathway” approach to carbon neutrality, giving buyers the option to choose based on their needs and local infrastructure.

“With the all-new Hilux, customers can experience the signature capability and utility of the Hilux through either the improved ICE variant or the new BEV variant,” said TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial.

The new Hilux adopts what Toyota calls a “Cyber-Sumo” design language, featuring a revised front and rear fascia, new sleek headlights, and a honeycomb-style grille. The BEV variant gets a sealed, solid grille with no opening. The Conquest trim receives a rugged front bumper. Across all variants, a new rear deck step has been added for easier access to the truck bed.

The cabin has been updated with a new layout. High-grade trims — the BEV, V, and Conquest — get Electric Power Steering, updated audio displays, and digital instrument clusters. All variants include remote connectivity via the Next Generation myToyota Connect, which lets owners control select vehicle functions through a mobile app.

The ICE models come in five colors: Ash, Attitude Black Mica, Emotional Red II, Super White II, and Silver Metallic. The BEV is available exclusively in Platinum White Pearl Mica.
