Starting June 14 a “No Card, No Ride” Policy will be implemented on Bus Route 14; Only TRIPKO cards will be valid
Last year, we wrote an article about the TRIPKO Card System. This is an Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) for cashless transactions, its main point is to make the paying of your fare easier or more convenient by simply tapping the card upon boarding the bus.
“No Card, No Ride” Policy
More recently, it was announced and reported on TRIPKO’s official Facebook page last June 11, 2022, that starting today (June 14, 2022) Route 14 will be implementing a “No Card, No Ride” policy. What it means is commuters who wish to ride and use the Route 14 bus line have to now avail of a TRIPKO card in order to be allowed to board.
Route 14 covers Buses bound for Alabang, Sucat, or Laguna from the Ayala bus station.
Those who avail of the card need not worry as the card itself is free, however, there is an initial load charge that ranges from PHP 50-PHP 100.
TRIPKO Booth Locations
According to the post, commuters can get a card in the following locations:
- Starmall Alabang
- Sucat Bus Stop
- Bicutan Bus Stop
- EDSA Ayala.
