A 45 day rehabilitation of the center island drainage system along Araneta Avenue (Northbound) is underway

According to a post by the official Facebook page of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), “the rehabilitation of the center island drainage system along the northbound of Araneta Avenue from D. Tuazon St. to A. Bonifacio is being undertaken by the contractor of the Skyway Project.”

REHABILITATION OF CENTER ISLAND DRAINAGE SYSTEM ALONG ARANETA AVENUE (NORTHBOUND)

Here are the rerouting schemes for those affected by the rehabilitation of the Araneta Avenue drainage system:

All vehicles from Araneta Ave bound for Balintawak are diverted to the newly-opened bypass road.
All vehicles bound for Capulong St. (C-3) shall use a single lane on the right side of Araneta Ave. A zipper lane is also set up on Araneta Ave (southbound). The rehabilitation of both locations will last for at least 45 days according to the MDMA.
As is with any roadwork, motorists should take note, and better yet, plan their trips accordingly to avoid the eventual traffic.
