LRT-1 Central station now a vaccination site

After offering LRT-2 stations as a vaccination site, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) opens another vaccination site at LRT-1 Central station.

LRMC partners with the Manila Health Office to offer accessible vaccines to those 18 years old and above. The first and second jabs are available on site. Additionally, even if you received your initial two doses at different local government units or facilities, booster jabs are available for all eligible. Available brands are AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Sinovac.

For those planning to receive their first dose, registration is required here where a QR code will be provided for medical professionals to check according to procedures. On-site registration is also available with assistance from the Manila Health Office.

“This initiative highlights the importance of having a strong relationship with our government partners, and we are grateful to be partnering with the Manila Health Office this time. We share the same goal of protecting our people better and making COVID-19 vaccines more accessible, so we can finally put an end to this COVID-19 pandemic,” Dr. Louernie F. De Sales, LRMC Head of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Department said.

  1. Yup, it’ll be much more convenient for them to get their first/second or booster shots since it’ll be “on the way” for them. No need to allot a huge chuck of their time going to vaccination site if it’s available and easily accessible at LRT1 stations.

  2. Ease of doing vaccinations is really important especially to those working sectors who can’t afford to lose a day.

  3. More vaccination sites pa sana para din mas madami ang makapagpabakuna.
