Global premium new energy brand Lynk & Co signed strategic partnership agreements with authorized Philippine dealers in Hangzhou, China, marking a new phase in the brand’s local expansion. The signing follows the transition of Lynk & Co’s Philippine operations to direct management under Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) in early August 2026.
GMP said the agreement deepens Lynk & Co’s localized development in the market. Drawing on Geely’s existing operational foundation, the brand plans to accelerate the buildout of its sales and service networks, improve market responsiveness, and streamline the ownership experience for local buyers.

Integration into Geely’s local operating system in the Philippines will see Lynk & Co draw on Geely’s market expertise, channel resources, and operational capabilities to work more closely with dealer partners. GMP said the goal is to expand retail and service coverage, widen brand reach, and improve operational efficiency.
Executives who attended the signing ceremony in Hangzhou included Mars Chen, CMO of Zeekr and Lynk & Co Brands at Geely Auto International Corporation; Evin Ye, General Manager of the ASEAN RHD Business Unit at Geely Auto International Corporation; Bruce Li, Head of Lynk & Co Product Marketing at Geely Auto International Corporation; and Joey Zhu, Senior Sales Director of GMP.

Ye said: “The Philippines is a vital market for Lynk & Co. This partnership further solidifies the foundation for our long-term growth in the country. Moving forward, we will work closely with our dealer partners to continuously refine our sales and service infrastructure, driving steady and sustained development.”

Dealers named in the agreement include MG Gateway South Corp. and Monte Rosa Motors, Inc. GMP described the move as a direct application of Geely’s “One Geely” strategy in the Philippines, aimed at consolidating regional operating resources and strengthening cross-brand coordination to support its portfolio brands in the country.
Brand Refresh and Lynk & Co 09 Set for Fourth Quarter
Lynk & Co is scheduled to roll out a brand refresh and a new product lineup in the Philippines in the fourth quarter of 2026. The centerpiece of that lineup is the Lynk & Co 09, a plug-in hybrid electric six-seater SUV built around interior space, safety, and onboard technology. GMP positions the model to compete in the premium mobility segment and expand Lynk & Co’s presence in the local luxury SUV category.
GMP said it plans to combine resources from both the Geely and Lynk & Co brands going forward, with continued investment in the Philippine market, expansion of dealer channels, improved service standards, and a broader product range.
