Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has strengthened its connection with customers in Palawan through collaboration with Auto Artist Incorporated (AAI). This partnership marked two significant events on October 10, 2023. Firstly, the inauguration of the first 1S outlet under HMPH, situated at the Ground Floor of Robinson’s Puerto Princesa, offering a lifestyle-centric approach to car buying with digitalized touchpoints. This 140.25-sqm space features a 2-car display, media wall, private consultation lounge, open seating area, and a brochure table with a configurator wall.
Mr. Dongwook Lee, President of HMPH, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and customer care, stating that the 1S outlet is designed to help customers acquire their dream Hyundai or simply enjoy a coffee while exploring the Hyundai ownership experience.
Simultaneously, a groundbreaking ceremony took place for the new Hyundai dealership in Puerto Princesa, attended by HMPH executives and AAI’s board of directors, including Mr. Dennis Tan, President, and Mr. Paul Elton Lao, Chief Operating Officer. Set to open in the third quarter of 2024, Hyundai Palawan is part of the brand’s expansion plan, targeting 46 new locations.
Mr. Dennis Tan, President of AAI, expressed a vision beyond a physical dealership, emphasizing the evolving automotive landscape and the commitment to progress and growth. He highlighted the significance of global brands investing in the community, creating jobs, and stimulating economic activity. Recognizing Palawan’s beauty and its people’s spirit, Hyundai aims to contribute to the region’s development by providing wider access to its new models and high-quality aftersales services. This move aligns with Palawan’s status as a model city for sustainable technologies and practices, driven by the locals’ passion for resource preservation and protection in the MIMAROPA region.
