Ford Philippines rolled out three new V6-powered variants of the Ranger pickup, expanding the lineup with the Wildtrak X, Wildtrak, and Raptor to offer customers more choices across power, performance, and off-road capability.

“The Ranger has always been more than a vehicle that gets you from one place to another. It becomes part of how our customers live, whether they are pursuing a passion, spending time outdoors, bringing along the gear they need or simply making more out of their everyday journeys,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. “With these new additions, we are giving customers more ways to find a Ranger that complements their lifestyle and helps them do more of what they enjoy with more power and capability.”

Heading the new lineup is the Ranger Wildtrak X 3.0L V6 4×4 Diesel, alongside the Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 4×4 Diesel and the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 EcoBoost 4×4. All three variants use 3.0L V6 engines paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, each positioned differently: the Wildtrak X for off-road use, the Wildtrak for everyday versatility, and the Raptor for performance driving.

The Ranger Wildtrak X 3.0L V6 4×4 Diesel produces 250 PS and 600 Nm of torque. It comes with an increased ride height, 17-inch Wildtrak X alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, and Bilstein dampers, along with metal underbody protection, a bash plate, and a skid plate for added protection over rough terrain.

Inside, the Wildtrak X includes a 12.4-inch multi-information display, a 12-inch infotainment screen, and a 10-speaker B&O sound system. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and a 360-degree camera are also included.

The Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 4×4 Diesel shares the same 250PS and 600Nm V6 diesel output as the Wildtrak X. Its updated design includes a new grille center bar with Ignite Orange accents, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a black Wildtrak sports hoop. The cabin gets new seat patterns, ambient lighting, and Ignite Orange accents.

The Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 EcoBoost 4×4 is now compatible with the Ford app, adding features such as Remote Start/Stop, Intelligent Oil Life Monitoring, and Real-Time Location Tracking. Its 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine produces 397 PS and 583 Nm.

Ford said the 3.0L Turbo Diesel V6 delivers responsive performance for everyday driving, towing, and demanding terrain. The 10-speed automatic transmission is tuned with optimized gear spacing for acceleration and power across driving conditions.

Both the Wildtrak X and Wildtrak use a full-time 4×4 drivetrain, matching the Raptor, along with an electronic locking rear differential and a Terrain Management System.

The Ranger Raptor uses its 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine for a different performance profile, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4×4 system. Ford pointed to the Raptor’s record in competitions such as the Baja 1000, where it has secured wins, as evidence of its drivetrain durability.

Each gear in the Raptor’s 10-speed transmission is programmed with its own boost profile. The Raptor also has an electronically controlled active exhaust system with four selectable drive modes — Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja — that adjust the engine note.

The Raptor’s suspension uses electronically controlled FOX 2.5 Live Valve Shocks, the largest shock absorbers used on the Ranger Raptor to date, at 2.5 inches in diameter. They are filled with Teflon-infused oil that Ford says reduces friction by about 50 percent compared to the previous Raptor’s shocks. The Live Valve Internal Bypass system is designed to improve ride comfort on-road and off-road at both high and low speeds.

Ford Philippines tied the launch to its Truck Month promotion. Buyers of the Ranger Wildtrak, Wildtrak X, or Raptor get a P20,000 cash discount and a 5-Star Care package, which includes a 5-year vehicle warranty, a 5-year Scheduled Service Plan, and 5-year Emergency Roadside Assistance.

Raptor buyers also have the option of a P150,000 all-in down payment.

Ford also highlighted its Ford Family Guarantee aftersales program alongside the new lineup. The program includes Online Service Booking, Pickup and Delivery, and a Mobile Service Vehicle.

Ford’s Scheduled Service Plan (SSP), a prepaid maintenance package included with new vehicle purchases, covers future periodic service requirements. Customers who did not avail of the SSP can opt for SSP Plus, a 3-year service package covering maintenance from 20,000 to 100,000 kilometers.

Ford said its Parts Distribution Center supports parts accessibility, while its newly launched Learning Center serves as a training hub for dealer personnel nationwide.
