Ford Philippines is marking the first anniversary of the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6, a milestone that comes with the nameplate reaching 1,000 owners nationwide. The performance pickup was first shown locally at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) in October last year with limited availability. Strong demand led Ford to officially add the V6 variant to its lineup in January.

“The response to the Ranger Raptor V6 in its first year has been incredible,” said Pedro Simoes, Managing Director and President of Ford Philippines. “Customers have embraced it as both a serious performance pickup and a trusted everyday companion.”

Developed by Ford Performance, the Ranger Raptor V6 features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, producing 392 hp and 583 Nm. It features FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass Shock Absorbers and up to seven drive modes, including Baja mode for high-speed off-road use. These systems help the truck deliver stability and comfort on both city roads and rough terrain.

Ford Philippines was even able to gather testimonies from Ranger Raptor V6 owners themselves, who say the Raptor V6 has become a reliable daily vehicle.

Angel Santiago, a system integrator, purchased the Raptor V6 after owning a 2.0L diesel version. He uses it for frequent drives between home, office, showrooms, and project sites. “No matter the distance, the Raptor V6 turned my client visits into something I look forward to,” he said.

Owner Ivan Capati recalled a solo trip to La Union and Baguio in heavy rain. Despite flooded roads, he said he never felt unsafe. “The Raptor V6 felt planted, powerful, and comfortable the whole way,” he shared.

Longtime Ford customer Roger Aventurado said the V6 is the best Raptor he has owned. After driving various Ranger variants since 2018, he now uses the Raptor V6 almost daily. “It is the first pickup that truly feels like a reward for all those years of work,” he said.

Raptor club member Ken Chee, who previously owned different Raptor versions, bought the V6 in August. “I already know the 2.0L Raptor is a good ride, but the 3.0L version is next-level, especially on rough roads,” he said.

Another early buyer, Zainal Limpao, alternates between his Raptor V6 and Ford Everest. A family trip from Cavite to Pangasinan during heavy rain reinforced his confidence in the truck. “The all-wheel drive and V6 power helped a lot. What should’ve been a long and grueling trip was actually smooth and enjoyable,” he said.
