Ford Philippines has appointed Pushparaj Muthusamy as Director of its Customer Service Division. Muthusamy, who goes by Raj, will be based in Manila and will report to Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines.

He replaces Joyce Laxamana, who has been appointed Parts Supply and Logistics Director for Ford ASEAN.
In his new role, Raj will lead Ford’s aftersales operations in the Philippines. His responsibilities include improving the ownership and aftersales experience, driving service retention through data-driven initiatives, and strengthening relationships with dealer partners.
“Raj’s expertise in data analytics and his customer-centric approach have already delivered significant results for our operations. His leadership will be pivotal as we continue to modernize our service offerings, build long-term loyalty with our customers, and enhance the Ford ownership experience with focus on aftersales,” Simoes said.
Raj joined Ford Motor Company in 2020 and has more than 15 years of experience in service processes, aftersales planning, and data analytics. Before his appointment in the Philippines, he held positions in retail marketing and sales operations within Ford’s International Markets Group. He led the Likelihood to Service AI/ML-driven campaign, which delivered a threefold improvement in service conversions, and led strategic retention initiatives in South Africa.
Raj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile Engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology in Chennai, which he earned in 2010.
