Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is recalling Mitsubishi Xpander units purchased from May 2018 to October 22, 2019.
MMPC urges car owners to bring their Xpanders in for a preventive maintenance appointment to replace the fuel pumps that they fear might be affected by a known issue. The entire procedure is said to take about one and a half hours, which is subject to the availability of both service bays and replacement fuel pumps.
Customers are encouraged to call their Mitsubishi Service Center to arrange an appointment or the MMPC Customer Care Center at (+632) 8250 -888, which is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Alternatively, customers may log on to www.mmpc.ph to address their concerns.
Is the replacement free of charge?
