Say hello to the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport. This model, based on the mid-level VE variant of the Kicks, will be a limited edition of the Kicks, and what makes it special is that it only comes in one exclusive color – a color that many Kicks buyers would want but won’t be able to get – and it comes standard with the (then-) optional Sport package. Let’s take a closer look at what the Sport has to offer, shall we?
Limited to only 150: the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport
First off, the Kicks e-POWER Sport Edition is based on the middle trim of the Kicks, the VE variant. That said, its innards and features will remain the same as said variant, but we’ll get to that later. What sets this Kicks apart from the non-Limited sort is that it only comes in only one, exclusive color: Galaxy Black. Only 150 of these Kicks VE variants will be “made” to e-POWER Sport specs.
Other tidbits have been added as well by way of the Dealer Option Sport package. That consists of a front chin, side skirts, a rear skirt, and a roof spoiler. Adding some contrast to the black paint is the fact that these body kit pieces are finished silver, a pretty good highlight to what might come off as a bit too drab of a motif without the added splash of “bling”.
The 17″ alloy wheels of the e-POWER Sport will be the same as that of the rest of the Kicks line. For those who might wonder, standard features of the VE variant include LED headlights and taillights equipped with LED DRLs, an 8″ infotainment touchscreen with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Nissan’s Zero Gravity front seats, as well as Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility Suite.
Power will be provided by the same 134 HP, 280 Nm electric motor, with its 213 kWh Lithium-ion battery charged by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine.
“Today, we are thrilled to introduce the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport to the Philippines, a testament to our commitment to delivering innovation and excitement to our valued customers. This limited edition model represents the fusion of exclusivity, sportiness, and advanced technology that defines Nissan’s vision for the future of mobility in the country,” said Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan Philippines President.
The Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport is already available as of October 1, 2023, and it is priced at PHP 1,429,000 (VE variant PHP 1,339,000 base price + PHP 90,000 for the Dealer Option Sport accessory package exclusive for the Galaxy Black VE variant).
