As expected the official launch has just concluded and here’s what we learned.

2024 Hyundai Creta facelift/update

Upon first laying your eyes on the 2024 Creta it would instantly be recognizable, but closer inspection reveals that there are some key changes here and there. The brand made the design of the exterior sharper and more modern while still retaining the uniqueness that made the Creta stand out before.

The front fascia has been revised with new headlights, DRLs, and foglights, while the rear has a continuous lightbar in the back. Rounding out the exterior changes are the new 16-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Creta 1

It’s on the inside where the 2024 model stands out, the most obvious change is the new ‘seamless’ infotainment screen that is now connected to the digital instrument cluster making it look much bigger. The climate control system has also been updated and is now a dual-zone unit.

Hyundai is a very big believer in safety, and as such the automaker included the Hyundai Smartsense safety suite in the 2024 Creta. In terms of powertrains, the Indian market will have a choice of 3 engines, all three engines displace 1.5 liters and there is a lone diesel variant. When it comes to transmissions there are 2 options to choose from, an IVT or a manual.

Having already made a debut in India, we can assume that an ASEAN launch for the updated Creta will also happen soon.
