Astara secures exclusive importer role for JMC Pick-up vehicles in the Philippines

In a strategic move, Astara, a global powerhouse in the mobility sector, has clinched an exclusive deal to become the sole importer of JMC’s pickup vehicles in the Philippines. This comprehensive agreement covers the distribution of new vehicles, spare parts, and related services, cementing Astara’s role as a key player in shaping the automotive landscape in the region.

The partnership solidifies Astara’s longstanding relationship with JMC, a collaboration that commenced in 2019 and has witnessed successful operations in Chile, Bolivia, and Colombia. This latest expansion into the Philippines marks a pivotal step in Astara’s regional strategy, initiated in 2021, to establish a formidable presence in Southeast Asia.

Astara’s immediate focus will be building a robust dealer network and positioning itself as a competitive pickup vehicle segment leader. Concurrently, the company aims to deploy effective strategies to promote and strengthen the brand’s image and product lineup within the Philippine market.
