BMW unveils New M4 CS–Features increased power and track capability
BMW has introduced the latest addition to its M series lineup, the BMW M4 CS, offering enthusiasts a fusion of high-performance capabilities and luxury features. Positioned between the BMW M4 Competition Coupé with M xDrive and the limited-run BMW M4 CSL special edition, the M4 CS promises to deliver the quintessential M driving experience both on the road and the track.

Powered by a potent six-cylinder in-line engine paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and M xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive, the M4 CS boasts impressive acceleration figures, reaching zero to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Tested at the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife circuit, it recorded an official lap time of 7 min. 21.989 sec., showcasing its dynamic prowess.

Under the hood, the M4 CS houses a race-inspired engine developed with M TwinPower Turbo technology, producing a maximum output of 550 hp. This powertrain, shared with the BMW M4 GT3, offers instant power delivery and a distinctive engine note, amplified by the dual-branch exhaust system.

The M4 CS features an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, offering different shift characteristics for various driving scenarios. Coupled with the M xDrive system, which provides smooth power distribution between the front and rear wheels, the M4 CS ensures maximum traction and stability.

Model-specific chassis tuning and control systems enhance its performance further, including adaptive M suspension, electromechanical M Servotronic steering, and M Compound brakes. These components work harmoniously to optimize steering precision, lateral control forces, and overall handling.
