Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) has surpassed 1,000 units of its Tiggo rEV sold in the Philippines, the company announced, citing continued demand for the plug-in hybrid model.

The milestone comes as Chery Auto Philippines reported 220 retail sales in June 2026, a 69% increase compared to June 2025. From January to June 2026, the brand recorded 981 retail sales, up 58% year-on-year.
“The milestone of over 1,000 Tiggo rEVs on Philippine roads means that more customers are discovering that the Tiggo rEV delivers the right balance of efficiency, performance, comfort, and advanced technology while providing real savings in everyday driving. We are grateful for the trust our customers continue to place in the Chery brand, and we remain committed to delivering mobility solutions that make every family journey smarter and more rewarding,” said Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of Chery Auto Philippines.
The Tiggo rEV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and a seven-seat configuration, along with interior features intended for both daily use and longer trips.
Chery Auto Philippines said it continues to provide aftersales support through United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), which has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. The company said its dealer network offers service support and access to genuine parts.
Chery Auto Philippines said it will continue expanding its electrified vehicle lineup in the country, in line with what it describes as Chery’s global brand direction, “For the Family.”
The Philippine sales figures align with Chery Group’s global performance in the first half of 2026, during which the company sold 1,357,533 vehicles worldwide. Chery said its global customer base has reached more than 19.88 million.
