Autowise Ventures Inc. (AUTO iCON Group) has signed a distributorship agreement with AVATR, a luxury electric vehicle brand under China’s Changan Auto Group, marking the brand’s formal entry into the Philippine market.
The deal positions Autowise Ventures as the official local distributor for AVATR, which will launch its initial lineup in the Philippines this year. The brand is set to debut three models: the AVATR 11, a luxury SUV with a dual-motor setup producing up to 578 HP and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds; the AVATR 12, a luxury executive sedan featuring the brand’s “4D Intelligent Cockpit” system; and the AVATR 07, an urban SUV offered in both Pure Electric (BEV) and Extended Range (REEV) configurations.
Guan Xin, Vice President of Changan Auto Group, cited growing consumer interest in new energy vehicles as a factor behind the brand’s entry into the Philippine market. “The Philippine market is gaining strong momentum in the new energy vehicle segment as buyers become increasingly aware of and open to alternative mobility solutions,” he said.

Autowise Ventures has been operating in the Philippine automotive industry for over two decades and currently distributes several internationally recognized brands.
AVATR is scheduled to make its official Philippine debut in the third quarter of 2025, with 3S dealerships set to open in Alabang and Bonifacio Global City.
