GAC International Philippines has been officially accepted as a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the country’s leading organization for the automotive industry. The membership enables GAC Philippines to work directly with industry stakeholders to shape national policies, programs, and standards for the local automotive sector.

Steven Wang, Senior Vice President of GAC International, said joining CAMPI marks an important step for the company’s operations in the country. He said GAC intends to use the partnership to support its growth in the Philippine market, adding that the membership reflects the company’s commitment to providing Filipino consumers with quality engineering and a complete automotive ownership experience as it continues to strengthen its presence locally.

This also means that GAC will now have to publish its sales figures through CAMPI, which will give us a more accurate view of the numbers.

In early 2026, GAC Philippines completed a reorganization that made it a wholly-owned local subsidiary of GAC International. Its return to the market is built around the “ONE GAC” brand approach, which brings GAC MOTOR, AION, and HYPTEC together under a single brand. The company said this consolidation is meant to provide a consistent standard across sales, service, and customer experience, while allowing it to offer a wider range of vehicle models. GAC said the unified structure is also intended to improve parts availability, after-sales support, and coordination across its nationwide dealer network.

The company said it has drawn on 20 years of collaboration with Toyota and Honda to develop its manufacturing and hybrid technologies. GAC said this background, combined with local calibration, is meant to ensure that its vehicles meet quality and durability standards suited to Philippine driving conditions.

GAC Philippines said it aims to provide a “zero-anxiety” ownership experience through its network of 30 dealerships, a dedicated parts warehouse, and aftersales support. Internal combustion vehicles come with a warranty of up to 5 years or 150,000 kilometers, while EV models are covered by an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, with the three-electric core system covered for 8 years or 200,000 kilometers. New owners also receive two years of free roadside assistance.
