GWM Philippines has officially become a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the company announced recently.
“Being part of CAMPI is a major step forward for GWM Philippines as we continue to strengthen our presence in the country,” said Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines. “This milestone reinforces our commitment to contributing to the growth of the Philippine automotive industry while continuously delivering globally competitive vehicles, advanced technology, and customer-focused mobility solutions to Filipinos.”
The CAMPI membership comes as GWM Philippines continues to expand its local vehicle lineup and dealer network nationwide.
Alongside the announcement, the company also previewed the GWM Haval H7 PHEV, a five-seater SUV slated for an official Philippine launch in the second quarter of 2026. The plug-in hybrid model is designed around hybrid efficiency, advanced technology, and everyday practicality, and is positioned toward the local SUV market with rugged styling, premium comfort, and modern safety features.

CAMPI serves as the primary industry organization representing automotive manufacturers in the Philippines. GWM’s membership places it alongside other established brands in shaping industry policy and standards.
The company said it intends to participate in industry initiatives and contribute to the broader development of the local automotive sector.
