Hooray! Fuel price for gas and diesel go down tomorrow, PHP 0.60, PHP 1.20, respectively

After weeks of increases and split rollbacks and hikes, fuel prices for both gasoline and diesel will go down tomorrow, June 11, 2024. Gas users will be happy to know that prices per liter are set for a rollback of PHP 0.60. Diesel users, on the other hand, get a better card dealt this week because pump prices will be cheaper by a significant PHP 1.20 per liter tomorrow.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, gasoline and diesel fuel prices will both go down at the same time tomorrow, June 11, 2024. The past weeks have seen a split in price adjustments, with one going up and the other going down on the usual adjustment day which is Tuesday of every week. Tomorrow brings some good news for users of both fuel types as gas becomes a bit cheaper per liter by PHP 0.60 and diesel by a heftier PHP 1.20.

As its patrons have come to expect, Cleanfuel will be the first to apply the changes to its pumps; it will do so at 12:01 AM. All the other players will follow suit come 6:00 AM, and this will include brands like Shell, Petron, Unioil, and Seaoil, among many others. Regardless of the time, we can expect that tomorrow will see lower prices in all stations, regardless of the brand.

While we enjoy the impending and very welcome fuel price rollback tomorrow, perhaps you can read about some fuel-saving myths that we’ve debunked. It does make for enjoyable reading and could give you more information on the not-so-effective practices that you might still engage in as far as saving gas or diesel goes.

Finally, a bit of good news for users of both types of fuels. Pretty good way to start the week, yes?
