Ever since the pandemic, more people have been prioritizing outdoor activities like biking, walking, jogging or just hanging around. This year we saw Ayala Avenue implement a Car Free Sunday scheme that has drawn people. Another major area has done the same, Greenfield District has implemented its scheme.
Greenfield District Car Free Sundays
According to a post on their official Facebook page, Mayflower Street corner United Street until Soho Central will be off limits to vehicles every Sunday from 6 am-10 am. In case anybody would like to join the car-free Sundays in that area, there is a map of where people can park their cars near the area.
As of the moment, the post only says that this car-free Sunday initiative will be in place from December 3 onwards. There is no word yet whether it will become a permanent scheme or if it will end before the start of 2024.
