Honda Philippines expands its presence with a new showroom in Tacloban

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has expanded its presence in Eastern Visayas with the opening of Honda Cars Tacloban on April 28, marking its first dealership in Region 8.

Located near Bethel International School in Barangay Pawing, Palo, Leyte, the new facility aims to make Honda’s sales and after-sales services more accessible to customers in Tacloban and nearby areas.

The dealership spans approximately 2,145 square meters and is equipped to handle vehicle sales, general repairs, spare parts, light body and paintwork, and preventive maintenance. It also houses Honda’s latest model lineup.

Honda Cars Tacloban is operated by Topcars Autoworld Corporation, HCPI’s local partner in the area. The company said the partnership is expected to help deliver Honda’s service standards across Leyte and Samar.

The inauguration was attended by Palo Mayor Remedios “Matin” L. Petilla, who expressed support for the dealership and welcomed its potential to provide quality products and services to residents in the region.

HCPI officials present at the event included President Hidekazu Arai, Senior Vice President Atty. Louie Soriano and Customer Service Adviser Yusuke Kurita.

Representatives from Topcars Autoworld Corporation also attended, led by President Willard Chan and Managing Director Ryan Lindbergh Chan, along with other members of the management team.

Arai said the new dealership addresses HCPI’s limited presence in Region 8 in the past, where it previously relied on caravan activities to reach customers.

“With the opening of Honda Cars Tacloban, we can now provide a more consistent, more accessible, and more complete customer experience that Honda owners deserve,” Arai said. “This dealership strengthens our presence in the region and allows us to offer full services, from sales to after-sales support.”

The showroom operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while service operations are available from Monday to Saturday during the same hours.
