Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has launched the new Staria Hybrid, expanding the brand’s hybrid lineup with a van that starts at Php 1,999,000 and offers a fuel efficiency rating of 17.7 km/L.

The new Staria Hybrid features updated 18-inch alloy wheels, a redesigned front grille, and cube projection LED headlamps, while retaining the space and practicality associated with the Staria line.
The van is the first Hyundai model in the Philippines to come with Bluelink, the brand’s connected car service platform. Through Hyundai Live Services, owners can get real-time traffic and weather updates through the infotainment system without connecting a smartphone, with data updating every two minutes. Bluelink also supports online voice recognition for sending and receiving text messages, and gives owners access to vehicle status, diagnostics, and health reports. Owners can also remotely control climate settings, door locks, the horn, and the lights.
Inside, the Staria Hybrid comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment display and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. It also has USB Type-C charging ports in the front and back rows and a wireless charging pad up front. Other interior features include a steering column-mounted Shift-by-Wire system, power seats with lumbar support and heating and ventilation functions, and a dual power and tilt sunroof.
The nine-seater variant is now available with a three-row seat configuration, while the seven-seater variant has extended seat rails that allow owners to adjust cargo space as needed. The Staria Hybrid also comes with Hyundai’s e-Handling function, which improves agility and stability while cornering, and e-Ride, which improves ride quality over speed bumps and during rapid acceleration.
On safety, the Staria Hybrid is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, which includes Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning, along with six airbags.

The Staria Hybrid is available in three exterior colors: Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl, and Shimmering Silver Metallic. The seven-seater and nine-seater premium variants come with exclusive interior colors in Bordeaux Brown and Anthracite Brown, respectively.
