Hyundai Ioniq 5 official pricing and warranty revealed

Ever since Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) revealed the Ioniq 5 EV during the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), everybody has been waiting with bated breath as to how much the brand will sell it for. Finally, we have an answer.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Price

During the media thanksgiving part held by the brand, they decided to finally release the official pricing of the Ioniq 5 EV to the media.

Ioniq 5 Pricing:

GLS 2WD S (standard range) – PHP 3,068,000

GLS 2WD L (long range) – PHP 3,698,000

While these may seem like high prices for an EV, it’s actually quite competitive against the likes of the Nissan Leaf. The Ioniq 5 will be available in 4 exterior colors, namely  Phantom Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic, Atlas White, and Gravity Gold Matte.

Of course HMPH understands the need to appeal to the buying public, so the automaker is also giving a free wallbox home charger for buyers of the Ioniq 5.

In terms of warranties, the Ioniq 5 will come with a 5-year or 200,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty. Apart from that, there is also a  5-year or up to 75,000 km free preventive maintenance service package just to sweeten the deal further.

As of now, that’s all the information we have on the Hyundai Ioniq 5, although we won’t have to wait long with the official launch looming.
