Hyundai PH designates 4 dealerships to sell N cars

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) proudly launched the award-winning Elantra N and IONIQ 5 N during the 19th Manila International Auto Show and will be bringing the said vehicles to the Philippine shores in July of 2024. N, with roots in Hyundai’s winning DNA, is the brand’s flagship line of high-performance motorsport vehicles. With its N-exclusive features, both the Elantra N and IONIQ 5 N allow its drivers to go from daily driver to track star, a true testament to the N core values – Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car.

The Elantra N is a compact sedan with a 2.0 Turbo Engine capable of 280 Ps of power and 392 Nm of Torque. Equipped with N Launch Control, the vehicle can go from 0 to 100 kph in 5.3 seconds. It produces an exciting pop & bang when upshifting in certain drive modes like SPORT or N mode. The Elantra N will retail for PHP 2,738,000 in four (4) different colors which are Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic and Performance Blue.

On the other hand, the IONIQ 5 N is a compact sports utility vehicle (C-SUV) perfect for both everyday cruising and spirited driving on the road or track, setting the standard for high-performance electric vehicles (EV). With features integrated from its award-winning precursor, the IONIQ 5. The IONIQ 5 N’s 84 kWh Battery powers its All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system in its front & rear motors, resulting to a 650 Ps maximum output with N Grin Boost. N Active Sound, integrated with the N e-Shift, provides a virtual sound optimized for EV N performance. The IONIQ 5 N will be available for PHP 4,250,000 in five (5) color options, Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic, Performance Blue, and Performance Blue Matte.

HMPH also recently signed its first four (4) official N dealers last April 11, 2024, at the CONRAD Hotel Manila. The ceremonial signing formally introduced Hyundai Alabang, Commonwealth Avenue, Makati, and Pasig as the four dealerships that will pilot Hyundai N in the Philippines. HMPH President Mr. Dongwook Lee, HMPH Managing Director Mr. Cecil Capacete and four (4) dealer executives, namely, Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue President Atty. Anna Lyne San Juan Ponferrada, Hyundai Pasig President Mr. Rudolph Samuel Bonifacio, Hyundai Makati Vice President Mr. Martin Paulo Arancon, Hyundai Alabang President Mr. William Chiongbian II, were among those present at the ceremony.

“We have been getting asked as to why we are already bringing in N. Well, one reason is it supports us, Hyundai, as a brand to become more competitive. Leveraging on our global heritage and accomplishments to set ourselves apart in the market. More importantly, it helps us push further our shared vision, which is to Innovate Everyday. Providing not just exciting mobility solutions but also finding ways to be present in the lives of more Filipino customers”, said Mr. Capacete in his short message thanking the four (4) dealers.
