Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) reported a 10% year-on-year sales increase from January to August 2025, strengthening its lead in the Philippine truck market across Categories III to V. Based on combined sales data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA), IPC captured a 42.7% overall market share during the period.

IPC sold 3,200 truck units as of August 2025, up from 2,912 units in the same period last year. The company credited the growth to strong demand across light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty segments.

“We are honored by the support of Filipino businesses and individuals, which reflects the trust we’ve built through our dedication to delivering the best customer experience—from sales to aftersales,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui. “The growth in each segment demonstrates our mission to provide reliable mobility solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our customers.”

Category III light-duty trucks accounted for the largest share, with 1,934 units sold and a 42.9% market share. The Isuzu N-Series continues to drive this segment, widely used in logistics and distribution. Features such as Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for easier handling in urban traffic and ergonomic cabin design for driver comfort contributed to its popularity.

Category IV trucks sold 998 units, capturing 43% of the market, a 4.4% increase from the previous year. The Isuzu F-Series remained the top choice for medium-duty operations such as long-distance transport and industrial use.

In Category V, IPC secured a 40.3% share of the heavy-duty truck segment, selling 278 units, which also reflected a 4.4% increase. Growth was driven by demand from government infrastructure projects and large-scale logistics. The Isuzu S&E Series, with its payload capacity, robust chassis, and safety features like Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and Driver Coaching systems, led this performance.

IPC emphasized that aftersales service remains a key factor in maintaining customer trust. Its nationwide dealer network, mobile maintenance units, and field engineers provide continuous technical and service support. Training programs for drivers and mechanics further support safe and efficient truck operations.

“The steady growth throughout 2025 makes us optimistic about finishing the year strong,” Tsukui said. “Our mission to offer product excellence and customer service is key to retaining our leadership as the country’s most trusted truck brand.”
