JMC PH starts preselling of JMEV EV2 and EV3 locally

Astara-backed JMC Philippines is expanding its electrified lineup with the official launch of the JMEV EV2 and JMEV EV3, following teasers that began in February.

The JMEV EV2 blends dynamic styling with smart, refined details. It is powered by a 26 kW motor producing 84 Nm of torque, enabling smooth city driving and hill climbing with a top speed of 105 km/h. A 15.86 kWh battery provides a range of up to 201 km per charge, ideal for daily commuting. Measuring just 3.5 meters in length and featuring a 5-meter turning radius with 110 mm ground clearance, the EV2 is built for urban agility. Inside, it accommodates four passengers with PVC leather seats, 14 storage compartments, and a 105-liter trunk. The minimalist interior includes analog controls and a 2-speaker audio system, while safety is ensured with a steel-aluminum hybrid body, impact-absorbing design, and triple-sealed protection for key electrical components against dust and water.

The JMEV EV3 offers a more spacious and advanced electric driving experience. It features a 50 kW motor delivering 125 Nm of torque and a top speed of 115 km/h. Its 31.15 kWh battery supports a maximum range of 330 km. With a length of 3.72 meters, it seats five passengers 

and offers 177 liters of cargo space. The cabin includes a touchscreen infotainment system, making it suitable for both family outings and daily use. Safety features include a reinforced steel frame, Dual airbags, and an ABS braking system. 

Both the JMEV EV2 and EV3 offer a balanced combination of practicality, efficiency, and safety

While official pricing is yet to be finalized, JMC Philippines estimates the JMEV EV2 to fall between ₱660,000 – ₱680,000, and the JMEV EV3 between ₱780,000 – ₱800,000.
